Pye Unicam

The acquisition by Philips of the Pye business initially allowed companies such as Pye Unicam to continue to trade under their original brands.

Eventually, in Pye Unicam's case, this changed to a Philips Scientific branding. Later, this was followed by the York Street site also becoming a supplier of many more associated Philips technical products.

The Philips Scientific Spotlight Newsletter was produced for the York Street site employees by the company's Marcom department. This was in order to help the transition of staff from the Pye Unicam business alone to a much wider supplier of many Philips product lines.
